For over 35 years I worked in all phases of the creative process developing advertising and marketing tools for in-house marketing departments, design studios, individual clients and advertising agencies in Hawaii and California.

My experience includes design and production of logos, brochures, multi page ads, web sites, newsletters, identity packages, and catalogs. I have experience working in a variety industries, such as, but not only, high tech, fine art marketing, professional individuals, developers, builders, real estate, entertainment and travel

Since 1992 my computer of choice is Macintosh, which I keep updated with the most current Apple® software and high end programs, including Adobe® Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Image Ready, Flash, Freehand and, of course, Quark XPress.

1979 - 1985 • Honolulu, Hawaii, freelance graphic designer for various ad agencies and corporate marketing departments.

1986 - 1990 • Owned & operated ad agency & design studio providing graphic design, print, broadcast & media buying services in Honolulu, Hawaii.

1991 • Art Director for Fine Art Gallery chain in Hawaii.

1992 • Received diploma from Platt College for computer graphics on the Mac.

1992 - 1995 • Art director of in-house marketing department for local real estate firm

2000 • Received certificate from Platt College for web design on the Mac.

1995 to Present • Fine artist, freelance art director, marketing consultant, graphic & web designer. I also established my dba, White Space in 1995.

WASHINGTON D.C., December, 2008, 2009, 2010 White Space has been selected for the last 3 years for the Best of Mission Viejo Award in the Computer Graphics category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
